Review :

I hadn’t read Naruto for a long time, during the time of the Shinobi War, but I knew some of the manga’s episodes: Naruto and Hinata got together and of course they had children. Sasuke and Sakura too. Some characters I knew died, others didn’t. However, if you come back after a few years, that’s fine, the film is good enough to welcome longtime fans and newcomers alike. And the people in between .

As for the film itself, the animation and fight scenes are excellent, as one would expect. As for the character, he really does a great job portraying Naruto as a Hokage but more importantly as an adult and parent. The most powerful ninja in the world made him a responsible and dedicated man. As a result, the boy, once a ball of stupidity and exuberance, has become a stranger to his own family and son. Naruto has grown up and he’s not cute.

In a sweet mise en abyme, Boruto also wants his father to recognize him. Naruto, who in his youth wanted the whole world to notice him, is now unable to show his feelings to his son.

The irony is that Sasuke, aka Brooding/Cool Ninja, seems to be the more capable father and mentor. It’s a shame we didn’t get to see more of Sakura, the member of Team 7 who’s gone forever.

The film takes a long time to build up the two main characters, so the ending feels a bit rushed.Sure, things are looking up for Uzumaki’s men. In a great fight against a cute villain led by textbook villains.

Overall, immersing yourself in this world felt nostalgic again. A lot has changed, but a lot has stayed the same. The emotions were as great as when I read and saw Naruto for the first time.It made me want to go back and finish what I gave up some years ago.
